Welcome to Réseau Sélection

Réseau Sélection has been developing and managing retirement home complexes for over 25 years. A pioneer in the sector, the company enjoys a unique structure in Canada and is active today throughout Quebec : 30 residences in operation or under construction, with close to 3,000 employees serving the needs of some 7,500 residents whose satisfaction rate remains among the highest in the industry. In addition to revitalizing and enhancing their quality of life, Réseau Sélection has also developed healthyID®, a lifestyle program focusing on prevention and awareness for adopting healthy daily habits so that residents “live better, longer.”

Between now and 2020, Réseau Sélection will invest $2 billion in the construction of 30 new residential complexes, bringing its total number of units to 18,000.

In addition, the company holds the annual Réseau Sélection Ball, which is an opportunity to thank our clients for their loyalty and honour the numerous volunteers among them for taking an active role within their residences and at partner community organizations.

Health is one of the founding principles behind Réseau Sélection’s mission. As an expression of this vision, the company created the H-E-A-L-T-H model, which includes fundamental aspects such as Humour, Environment, Activities, Lifestyle and the Healthy Eating. By implementing this model at each of our residences, Réseau Sélection ensures that the well-being of our clients remains a top priority in our everyday activities.

In concrete terms, Réseau Sélection residences apply this program by creating stimulating and dynamic living environments in which technology is everywhere, supporting residents in their daily activities. We also pay special attention to nutrition and ensure that our kitchens serve balanced meals. Additionally, a team of seasoned recreational technicians offer our clients a suitable and diverse program of activities.

Multiple health services in a single facility

Réseau Sélection is proud to introduce our healthyid Zone, designed to promote the health and well-being of residents. This initiative supports the company’s vision and drive to create innovative healthcare practices that help retirees maintain an active and independent lifestyle.

healthyid Zone is a home to several essential health service providers : kinesiologist, naturopath, pharmacy, foot care clinics, gym, osteopaths, medical samplings and nursing care. These zones have been included in the following residences : Le Sélection Laval, Rosemont Les Quartiers, Vanier Les Quartiers and Vice Versa Châteauguay.

A meaningful partnership with the Anciens Canadiens de Montréal

Since 2006, Réseau Sélection has been a proud partner of the Anciens Canadiens de Montréal. Through this partnership, we provide former Montreal Canadiens players with the opportunity to retire in one of Réseau Sélection’sexceptional residences. Here, they enjoy a wide range of services and fun recreational activities. They also benefit from the HealthID program, which promotes prevention and healthy living—values that mean a lot to these accomplished athletes and to all of us at Réseau Sélection.

Over the past 25 years, Réseau Sélection has developed several training and certification programs. Team

  1. Réal Bouclin

    President and Chief Executive Officer

    Réal Bouclin is the Founding President, Chief Executive Officer and majority shareholder of Réseau Sélection. A highly motivated entrepreneur and natural leader, he has been the driving force behind Réseau Sélection’s rapid growth over the past few years. Thanks to him, the company is now a leader in the retirement housing industry.

  2. Robert Laplante

    Executive Vice President

    Robert Laplante acts as Executive Vice President at Réseau Sélection, where he has held shares for more than 15 years. He brings extensive experience in finance to the table, as well as 25 years managing retirement residences. With this background, Mr. Laplante is well-equipped to contribute to the operational strategic plan for the company and its subsidiaries.

  3. Yves Mongeau

    President, Conception Habitat 2015 and Vice President, Real Estate

    Yves Mongeau is Vice President, Real Estate at Réseau Sélection, as well as a company shareholder and member of the founding team. He believes that, in order to be successful, Réseau Sélection must meet and exceed the industry’s highest quality and safety standards. Mr. Mongeau is also the President of Conception Habitat 2000 Inc., Réseau Sélection’s dedicated construction company.

  4. Diane Martin

    Chief Operating Officer, RPA

    Diane Martin has been part of Réseau Sélection’s management team for nearly 10 years. She currently acts as Chief Operating Officer for the group’s entire network of retirement residences. She has 25 years of experience working in high-level real estate management and development positions in the public and private sectors. She holds an MBA in Real Estate and is also a member of the board of the “Regroupement québécois des résidences pour aînés (RQRA)”.

  5. Richard Nadeau

    Chief Financial Officer

    Richard Nadeau is Chief Financial Officer at Réseau Sélection. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with his past positions including Vice President, Corporate Finance – Eastern Canada at BMO, Senior Vice President at TMX Group, and more recently Executive Vice President and General Manager at Desjardins Capital Markets. He also sits on various boards of charitable organizations.

  6. Josée-Christine Boilard

    Executive Vice President, Corporate Service

    Since 2013, Josée-Christine Boilard has been Executive Vice President, Corporate Services at Réseau Sélection. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in human resources management for Canadian and International financial institutions. In addition to this experience, she is known for being a strategic thinker and pragmatic leader. Ms. Boilard holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Dalhousie University.

  7. Gaëtan Cormier

    Vice President, Business Development

    Gaëtan Cormier has been Vice President, Business Development at Réseau Sélection since January 2013. He has helped create and develop integrated environments, such as various types of housing units, commercial spaces and tourist attractions. Mr. Cormier previously acted as Vice President, Development and Accommodation for Intrawest across Canada. He has sat on several consulting committees and boards of directors, including at Fondation Tremblant.

  8. Luc Lepage

    Vice President, Health

    Luc Lepage has been Vice President, Health at Réseau Sélection since January 2012. After having spent 33 years in the public healthcare sector, Mr. Lepage switched to the private sector when he joined the Réseau Sélection team. This new challenge involves developing the company’s healthcare services within residences while setting up a broader healthcare offer that is tailored to the needs of Réseau Sélection clients.

  9. Louise N. Pelletier

    Vice President, Legal Affairs

    Louise Pelletier has held the position of Vice President, Legal Affairs at Réseau Sélection since 2013. Ms. Pelletier, LLB, LLM, has more than 20 years of experience in real estate law and business law. Having earned a master’s degree in law from the University of Montreal, she is a member of the Quebec and New Brunswick bar associations.

  10. Isabelle Dessureault

    Vice-President, Marketing, Sales & Public Affairs

    As Vice-President, Marketing, Sales and Public Affairs, Isabelle Dessureault is a true asset for Réseau Sélection. She has more than 20 years of experience working in marketing communications and public affairs, including 10 as a member of the senior management team for Vidéotron and 8 as an Associate for National Public Relations. Isabelle is an inventive businesswoman who develops winning strategies and works to deploy innovative solutions designed to deliver results. She is also known for her ability to forge long-lasting business partnerships.

  1. THE ACADEMY

    We’re passionate about what we do

    In keeping with our mission to improve the well-being of our clients and employees, Réseau Sélection has developed its own training centre.

    The Réseau Sélection Academy coordinates and holds refresher courses for professionals who work with the elderly. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that all our residents receive services that are caring, professional and safe. Always up to date with industry best practices in education, the Academy focuses on hands-on skill acquisition while striving to develop and offer the best possible training. In addition, the Academy has signed a provincial certificate of commitment to invest in skill development because we recognize that the capabilities, experience and knowledge of our employees are key to Réseau Sélection’s success.

    Our goal is to offer employees an educational framework so that they can provide standardized care services, better understand needs and appropriately respond to special client considerations.

  2. CERTIFICATION

    Residents can rest assured that all currently operational Réseau Sélection facilities have a certificate of compliance for seniors’ residences. This means that they meet the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services’ criteria, which fall into three categories: information, organization and practices. A certificate attests to the fact that the private seniors’ residence is in compliance with all the criteria listed in the application manual, the conditions for obtaining a certificate of compliance and the operating standards for private seniors’ residences.
