Head of maintenance
The head of maintenance coordinates the activities of maintenance and housekeeping staff, manages service requests and ensures that buildings are kept in good condition at all times. He/she performs various tasks relating to the maintenance and operation of the building and all of its components.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage requests (work orders);
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance using a computerized maintenance management system;
- Keep the preventive maintenance program up to date in his/her field of activity;
- Manage third party service contracts for building mechanics and electromechanical operations;
- Plan and organize employee work schedules;
- Carry out tasks such as: minor repairs, relocations and/or refitting, etc.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and professional training in general building maintenance (asset);
- Five (5) years of experience in building maintenance;
- Knowledge of basic computer programs;
- Bilingual (asset).
